MARINE SUPERINTENDENT (Batam)

The Marine Superintendent will provide Marine support to the vessels and report directly to the Fleet Manager and supports the Technical Superintendent and Ship Masters to deliver safe and efficient operation of ships.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment management for all vessels under responsibility in line with the companys guidelines and procedures.
* Planning and supervision of dry dock and repair operations (deck) in cooperation with the Technical department.
* To ensure compliance to the requirements of SOLAS/ISM, STCW, ISPS, DSC, HSC, other statutory requirements applicable to the industry.
* Conducting regular routine onboard inspections to ensure companys operational standards are maintained.
* Liaison with Port State, Flag State inspectors and ensuring rectification of deficiencies and corresponding preventive measures implementation.
* To conduct investigation of failures, defects and accidents, and recommending preventive measures.
* To provide guidance to Masters and staff on all safety and marine matters
* To conduct crew appraisals, and pre-employment evaluation
* To deliver training to crews onshore/onboard to improve standards
* Make suggestions for improvements and savings within area of responsibility
* Make suggestions for the improvement of the execution of tasks and working instructions
* Travel outstation as and when required
* Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required by the management

Requirements:

* Indonesian nationality
* Previous experience as a Master (shore Superintendent experience will be an added advantage).
* Possess strong knowledge of IMO Regulations, particularly ISM Code, and Good Seamanship practice
* Able to conduct effective stand-up training for crew
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, able to work fast and under pressure
* Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
* Work Location: Batam

HSE COORDINATOR

Primary Responsibilities:

3. Direct and supervise the safety department. The number of reports will vary as the project requirements increase or decrease.

8. Plan and direct an extensive inspection and auditing program throughout Companys operation areas to identify potential hazards and corrective action.
9. Develop and direct extensive training and auditing program to ensure a comprehensive training program.
10. Reporting to the Project Manager you will provide leadership, motivation, direction and assistance to Site Management staff to expand and improve Companys safety management system and programs.
11. Implement improvement to Companys Safety Management System to ensure the conservation of people, property, environment and profits.

Requirements:

* Tertiary Education, preferable degree holder in Engineering or OHS disciplines Min 2-4 years.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in similar offshore projects (Oil & Gas Industry).
* In-depth experience in developing and improving programs, practices, and procedures for maintaining high standard of QMS (Quality Management System).
* Familiar with Safety Management at all levels and focus on risk management.
* Strong Leadership with a proven track record in delivering significant change to an organization.
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self motivated, ability to influence, innovative and problem solver
